haha, some of those are actually right. though some of them they are translating more vulgarly than the Japanese would. ie: γΎγγ = a more proper Japanese term for the vagina than “pussy” insinuates.
*gasp*
So THAT’S what my tattoo means!?

Love it. My friend from Berlin and I actually exchanged similar lists which contained sland words & whole phrases commonly used in our native tongues. Explaining these terms with a language barrier was the fun part. It was like a very drunken game of charades.
Some of those words are wrong… Learn your Japanese.
copied and note to self: check list before symbol is tattooed (permanently)
I hate it when people get tattoos in a language they don’t understand. I know it’s “cool”, but it is terribly unoriginal and I can’t help but think there are some tattoo artists out there that just like to fuck with people. This is that tattoo artist’s list. “Sure that says ‘beautiful’. I don’t know why that Japanese nun was so outraged by it…”
Haha - I like the tattoo comments. I got a tattoo on my shoulder blade in the late 80’s early 90’s (whenever Skid Row was a popular band) just because Sebastian Bach had it and I thought it was cool. It’s SUPPOSEDLY the Japanese symbols for beauty and fire. But for all I know, it might say dumb and ugly. Hahah. That would almost be better - and definitely funnier! And would serve me right.
I think my boyfriend wrote the first sentence in black ink. How strange? I’m from portland, OR and he did go to Japan before he met me and I just looked over some of his handwriting and the first sentence looks exactly like his handwriting. Who is the buddy that posted this?
Dirty words in a foriegn language are always the first ones learned! Have you ever realized that?
Always have a Japanese native speaker proof read those tattoos first!
Perishability in a photograph is important in a picture. If a photograph looks perishable we say, “Gee, I’m glad I have that moment.” ~John Loengard
